Installation Procedure

- Install a plug into the wheel speed sensor hole in the wheel hub and bearing assembly.
- Thoroughly clean the wheel speed sensor mounting pad on the wheel hub and bearing assembly of any accumulated dirt, grease, and debris.
- Apply a light coat of wheel speed sensor anti-corrosion grease to the wheel speed sensor and mounting pad on the wheel hub and bearing assembly. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Install the front wheel speed sensor assembly to the wheel hub and bearing assembly.
- Install the front wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 13 N.m (115 lb in).
Secure the front wheel speed sensor harness retainers (2).
- Secure the front wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector (1) to the brake hose bracket.
- Connect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
