Removal Procedure
- Apply the parking brake.
Instrument Panel Steering Column Lower Trim Cover (2) - Remove - Steering Column Trim Cover ReplacementΒ
- Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control Actuator @ Transmission Control - Disconnect - Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control Actuator Replacement
Disconnect the park lock cable (2) from the ignition switch housing (1).
- Place the transmission control in the Neutral position.
- Shift Lever - Remove - Shift Lever ReplacementΒ
Communication Interface Module Bracket - (2) Remove - Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement
- Range Selector Lever Cable @ Transmission Control - Disconnect - Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement
Steering Column Nut (1) - Remove [4x]
- Carefully lower the steering column.
Transmission Control Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Transmission Control (1) - Remove
