Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
  2. Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the water pump and reposition. Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LV1)
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
