  1. Disable the parking brake cable adjuster. Parking Brake Cable Adjuster DisablingΒ 
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Parking Brake Front Cable(1)@Parking Brake Intermediate Cable(2) - Disconnect

  4. Parking Brake Front Cable(1)@ Frame Bracket - Remove
  5. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

    Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel (1) - Remove - Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement

  9. NOTE:

    It is only necessary to reposition the front floor panel carpet enough to access the parking brake front cable.

  10. Front Floor Panel Carpet - Reposition - Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement

    Parking Brake Cable Retainer Nut (1) - Remove

  12. Parking Brake Front Cable Grommet (2) - Release
  13. Parking Brake Front Cable(3) - Reposition
  14. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Parking Brake Lever Nut(1) - Remove[3x]

  16. NOTE:

    Remove the parking brake control module and the parking brake front cable from the vehicle as an assembly.

  17. Parking Brake Control Module (2) - Remove
