Installation Procedure
Brake Caliper(1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt- Upper(1) - Install and tighten - Rear Brake Caliper Hardware Replacement (JH6)Β Rear Brake Caliper Hardware Replacement (JH9)Β
Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt- Lower(1) - Install and tighten - Rear Brake Caliper Hardware Replacement (JH6)Β Rear Brake Caliper Hardware Replacement (JH9)Β
- NOTE:
Install NEW brake hose fitting gaskets.
Brake Hose Fitting Gasket(1)@Brake Hose Fitting (2) - Install NEW[2x]
Brake Hose Fitting Bolt(1) - Install and tighten - Rear Brake Hose Replacement
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual)
- Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and SealersΒ
- Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
