Removal Procedure
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Remove - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
- Remove the upper fan shroud. Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (LWN)Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (LV1)Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (L96, LC8)
- Remove as much power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Caution .

- Power Steering Fluid Cooler Hose (2)@Power Steering Pump - Remove - Power Steering Cooler Pipe/Hose Replacement (Without LWN, Without Brake Warning Indicator) Power Steering Cooler Pipe/Hose Replacement (Without LWN, With Brake Warning Indicator)
- Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose (3)@Power Steering Pump - Remove - Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Replacement (With LWN) Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Replacement (Without LWN)
Power Steering Pump (1) - Remove - Power Steering Pump Replacement (With LWN) Power Steering Pump Replacement (With LC8 L96) Power Steering Pump Replacement (With LV1)
Power Steering Pump Bracket Bolt (1) - Loosen [3x]
- NOTE:
The power steering pump bracket must be removed with the power steering pump bracket bolts.
Remove the power steering pump bracket (1) with the 3 power steering pump bracket bolts.
- Transfer components as necessary.
