Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition ON.
- Verify the scan tool Driver Door Lock Switch parameter and the Driver Door Unlock Switch parameter changes from Inactive to Active when pushing the appropriate switch on the S13D Door Lock Switch-Driver.
- If a parameter does not change
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Driver Door Lock Switch Malfunction.
- Go to next step: If the parameter changes
- If a parameter does not change
- Verify the scan tool Passenger Door Lock Switch parameter and the Passenger Door Unlock Switch parameter changes from Inactive to Active when pushing the appropriate switch on the S13P Door Lock Switch-Passenger.
- If the value is always Inactive
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Passenger Door Lock Switch Inoperative.
- If a parameter is always Active
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Passenger/Cargo Door Lock Switch Malfunction.
- Go to next step: If the parameter changes
- If the value is always Inactive
- Verify the scan tool Passenger Door Lock Switch parameter and the Passenger Door Unlock Switch parameter changes from Inactive to Active when pushing the appropriate switch on the S13A Door Lock Switch-Rear Cargo.
- If the value is always Inactive
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Rear Cargo Door Lock Switch Inoperative.
- If a parameter is always Active
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Passenger/Cargo Door Lock Switch Malfunction.
- Go to next step: If the parameter changes
- If the value is always Inactive
- Verify all vehicle doors Lock and Unlock when pushing the appropriate switch on the S13D Door Lock Switch-Driver.
- If a driver, passenger or rear cargo door LOCK or UNLOCK functions do not work
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Driver/Passenger/Cargo Door Lock Malfunction.
- If the M14RR Door Lock Actuator-Right Rear LOCK or UNLOCK function does not work
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Right Rear Door Lock Malfunction.
- If all door LOCK or UNLOCK function do not work
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Door Lock And Unlock Inoperative.
- Go to next step: If the LOCK and UNLOCK function for all doors works
- If a driver, passenger or rear cargo door LOCK or UNLOCK functions do not work
- All OK
