Installation Procedure
- Plug the wheel speed sensor bore to prevent debris from entering the wheel hub and bearing.
- Clean the mounting surface on the wheel hub to remove any corrosion and debris.
- Apply a light coat of wheel speed anti-corrosion grease to the wheel speed sensor and mounting pad on the wheel hub and bearing assembly. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and SealersΒ
- Remove the plug from the wheel speed sensor bore.
Wheel Speed Sensor (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
Clip (1) - Secure
Clip (1) - Secure
Clip (1) - Secure
Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

When to See a Mechanic
