Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
  2. Disconnect the charge air cooler outlet duct from the throttle body. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement 
1 Throttle Body Bolt [4x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
11 N.m (97 lb in)
2 Throttle Body Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector.
  2. Using a scan tool, perform the idle air control reset function.
3 Throttle Body Gasket
NOTE:

The throttle body gasket is one time use. A NEW gasket must installed whenever it is removed.
