2019 Chevrolet Express 2500 Base, Van Cargo Extended, 6.0L Eng VIN GSECTION Installation Procedure

    Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.

  2. Use a suitable strap to strap fuel tank to jack.
  3. Partially raise the fuel tank to connect the fuel tank fuel pump module connector.
  4. Fuel Tank (1) - Install

    Fuel Tank Strap (2) - Install [2x]

  6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  7. Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 30 N.m (22 lb ft)
  8. Remove strap holding fuel tank to jack.

    Fuel Return Pipe (3) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting ServiceΒ 

  10. Fuel Feed Pipe (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting ServiceΒ 
  11. Auxiliary Fuel Feed and Return Pipe (1) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting ServiceΒ

    Fuel Tank Filler Hose (3) - Install

  13. Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (2) - Install and tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in)
  14. Fuel Tank Filler Vent Hose (1) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting ServiceΒ 
  15. Refill the fuel tank.
  16. Inspect for fuel leaks.
