- Program or configure the module or related module that set DTC B1001. The module should successfully configure.
- If the module will not configure, replace the module that set the DTC.
- With a scan tool, clear the DTC.
- Ignition OFF, remove the scan tool, open and close the drivers door.
- Wait 60 seconds, then recheck for DTCs. DTC B1001 should not set.
- If DTC B1001 sets, replace the module.
