| Component | Description |

| A23 Door Latch Assembly | The door locks are actuated by a bidirectional DC motor that locks/unlocks the door so that it can not be opened from outside the vehicle (but still from inside). |
| S79D Window Switch - Driver | The S79D sends a serial data message to the K9 indicating the A23 function that has been requested. |
