Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the roof lift off panel. Refer to Roof Lift Off Panel Replacement .
  2. Mark the location of the locator before removing the bolts with a grease pencil.
  3. Mark the location of the locator bracket before removing the bolts with a grease pencil.
  4. Remove the quarter window trim finish panel. Refer to Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
1 Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Rear Locator Bracket Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
35 N.m (26 lb ft)
2 Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Rear Locator Bracket
3 Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Rear Locator Nut (Qty: 2)
4 Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Rear Locator Anchor Plate
5 Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Rear Locator Bolt (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
6 Roof Lift Off Panel/Window Rear Locator
Procedure 
If the roof panel needs adjusting. Refer to Roof Lift Off Panel Adjustment .
NOTE:

Inspect the roof panel for proper operation.
