- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Disconnect the electrical connector: B70 Liftgate Close Switch
- Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Signal terminal 3 & Low Reference terminal 4 - Switch - Not Pressed
- If less than infinite resistance
Replace the component: B70 Liftgate Close Switch
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- If less than infinite resistance
- Test for less than 3 ohms between the test points: Signal terminal 3 & Low Reference terminal 4 - Switch - Pressed
- If 3 ohms or greater
Replace the component: B70 Liftgate Close Switch
- Go to next step: If less than 3 ohms
- If 3 ohms or greater
- All OK.
