Circuit/System Verification
2019 Chevrolet Blazer Premier, FWDSECTION Circuit/System Verification
- Verify DTC B124B is not set.
- Attempt audio playback from multiple USB devices when diagnosing USB concerns. Device compatibility can vary based on vehicle equipment. If the infotainment system is capable of operating any USB type device, the cause of the concern is not with the vehicle system. The inoperative device(s) may be incompatible or contain no recognized media types.
- If the DTC is set
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC is set
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode - Infotainment System State - ON
- Connect a compatible USB device to the X92 Auxiliary Audio Input USB port and attempt to play audio
- Verify audio is heard through the vehicles speakers while operating the USB device.
- If audio is not heard
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If audio is heard
- If audio is not heard
- All OK.
