Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear side door window belt reveal molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Replacement (Short Wheelbase) Rear Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Replacement (Long Wheelbase) .
  2. Reposition the front upper edge of the rear side door weatherstrip to gain access to the front applique upper screw. Refer to Rear Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement - Door Side (Short Wheelbase)Rear Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement - Door Side (Long Wheelbase) .

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2 Rear Side Door Window Frame Front Applique
  1. Use a small flat-bladed tool to release the clips from the front side door.
  2. Slide the applique down and forward to remove from door window frame.
  3. Use a solution of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water to clean the adhesive surface.
  4. Peel off tape liner from back of applique.
  5. Applique has a C channel on the front edge that must wrap around the front window frame during installation.
  6. Align top front edge of applique to front edge of upper door reveal molding.
  7. Engage in-line clips by pushing applique inboard.
  8. Tighten applique upper screw.
  9. Reposition side door weatherstrip.
  10. Reseat rear window belt molding.
NOTE:
  • When reinstalling belt reveal molding and clips appear broken replace the molding.
  • DO NOT overtighten screw during installation of applique.
