Circuit/System Verification

2018 Chevrolet Tahoe LT, 4WD, GasSECTION Circuit/System Verification
  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify the scan tool Exterior Liftgate Window Unlatch Switch parameter changes between Active and Inactive when pressing and releasing the S141 Liftgate Window Unlatch Switch.
    • If the parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Liftgate Window Switch Inoperative.

    • Go to next step: If the parameter changes 
  3. NOTE:

    The M33 Liftgate Window Latch Assembly will be disabled if the body control module has detected that the M45 Rear Wiper Motor is Active, verify the function of the M45 Rear Wiper Motor prior to commanding the M33 Liftgate Window Latch Assembly. Refer to Rear Wiper System Malfunction

  4. Verify the M33 Liftgate Window Latch Assembly releases the liftgate window when pressing and releasing the S141 Liftgate Window Unlatch Switch.
    • If the liftgate window does not release 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Liftgate Window Latch Inoperative.

    • Go to next step: If the liftgate window does release 
  5. All OK.
