Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Programming and Setup (6L80/ 6L90): Notes
The following service procedures require either a programming or a setup event be performed for a complete repair. The transmission control module (TCM) is part of the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly, and is not serviced separately.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
