Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the radio speaker amplifier. Refer to Radio Speaker Amplifier ReplacementΒ .
  2. Remove the transfer case control module. Refer to Transfer Case Control Module Replacement , or Transfer Case Control Module Replacement .
1 Communication Interface Module

Procedure

  1. Unsnap the module from the bracket and slide rearward to access the connectors.
  2. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
  3. Reprogram the communication interface module after installation. Refer to Control Module References .
