- Lower and secure the spare tire and wheel assembly enough to access the trailer brake control module.
- Disconnect the trailer brake power control module electrical connector.
- Hold the trailer brake power control module nuts stationary and remove the trailer brake power control module bolts (1).
- Remove the trailer brake power control module (1).
NOTE:
It is not necessary to completely remove the spare tire and wheel assembly.
