- Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
- Lower and secure the spare tire and wheel assembly.
- Disconnect the chassis control module and the trailer brake power control module electrical connectors.
- Loosen, but do not remove, the chassis control and trailer brake power control module bracket bolts (1).
- Slide the chassis control and trailer brake power control module bracket toward the right of the vehicle and remove the assembly from the vehicle.
- Remove the trailer brake power control module nuts (1).
- Remove the trailer brake power control module (1) from the bracket.
