Installation Procedure

2016 Chevrolet Impala LT, 2.5L Eng VIN A, GasSECTION Installation Procedure

Install NEW sealing washers (3) to the air conditioning compressor hose. Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement .

Install the air conditioning compressor hose (2) to the condenser.
Install the air conditioning compressor hose nut (1) to the condenser and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the air conditioning compressor hose (2) to the air conditioning evaporator hose.

Install the air conditioning compressor hose nut (1) to air conditioning evaporator hose and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
Install the air conditioning compressor hose (2) to the compressor.

Install the air conditioning compressor hose bolt (1) to the compressor and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
Evacuate and charge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
