Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
1 Steering Column Upper Trim Cover

Procedure

  1. Use light pressure to dislocate the steering column upper trim cover from the steering column lower trim cover.
  2. Separate the shift lever seal from the steering column upper trim cover.
2 Steering Column Lower Trim Cover

Procedure

  1. Remove the tilt lever. Refer to Steering Column Tilt Wheel Release Lever Replacement .
  2. Separate the shift lever seal from the steering column lower trim cover.
