2014 Chevrolet Traverse LT, 4D UtilitySECTION Data Link References
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2015 GMC Acadia, 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, and 2015 Buick Enclave. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

This table identifies which serial data link that a particular control module uses for in-vehicle data transmission. Some control modules may use more than one data link to communicate. Some control modules may have multiple communication circuits passing through them without actively communicating on that data link. This table is used to assist in correcting a communication malfunction. For the description and operation of these serial data communication circuits refer to Data Link Communications Description and Operation .

When to See a Mechanic

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

  • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
  • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
  • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
  • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
  • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
