Installation Procedure

2014 Chevrolet Express 2500 Base, Van Cargo, 6.6L Eng VIN LSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Remove the magnets from inside of the fuel tank and clean any metal fragments or other debris from the magnets.
  2. Using a clean rag, wipe the inside of the tank within arm's reach to remove any moisture or other contaminants.
  3. Install the fuel tank magnets in their original positions.

  4. Install the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module (2).
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module nuts (1) and tighten to 18 (13 lb ft).

  6. Install the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module hose (2).
  7. Install the LPG fuel tank fuel pump module hose clamp (1).

  8. Install the LPG fuel tank access cover (2) and seal (3) to the LPG fuel tank.
  9. Install the LPG fuel tank access cover bolts (1) and tighten in a crisscross pattern to 17 (13 lb ft).
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Purge the fuel tank. Refer to LPG Tank Purge .
