NOTE:

It is not necessary to discharge the A/C system when repositioning the compressor.

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (Diesel)
  2. Reposition the A/C compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (6.6L)
  3. Remove the engine coolant thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Removal
1 Fuel Pressure Regulator Fasteners (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Fuel Pressure Regulator
Procedure 
Disconnect the electrical connector.
