  1. Install the battery into the battery tray.
  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the battery hold-down retainer and bolt and tighten to 18 N.m (12 lb ft).

  5. Connect the battery positive cable and the positive battery cable terminal to the battery. Refer to Battery Positive Cable Replacement (V8)Β , Battery Positive Cable Replacement (V6)Β , Battery Positive Cable Replacement (LGH-Primary)Β , Battery Positive Cable Replacement (LGH-Auxiliary)Β .
  6. Connect the battery negative cable and the negative battery cable terminal to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
  7. Install the fender brace.
