2014 Chevrolet Express 2500 Base, Van Cargo, 6.6L Eng VIN LSECTION Removal Procedure (Battery, Charging System And Starting System)
  1. Disconnect the auxiliary battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .

  3. Remove the positive extension cable nut from the junction block and disconnect the cable.
  4. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  5. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .

  7. Remove the positive extension cable nut from the intake air heater and disconnect the cable.
  8. Disconnect the wiring harness clips.
  9. Remove the battery positive cover from the underhood bused electrical center (UBEC).
  10. Remove the positive extension cable nut from the UBEC terminal stud.
  11. Remove the positive extension cable.
