Installation Procedure
2014 Chevrolet Express 2500 Base, Van Cargo, 6.6L Eng VIN LSECTION Installation Procedure
- Lubricate the caliper bushings, bolts and seals with high temperature silicone brake lubricant.
- Install the caliper pin bushings, seals and pins to the caliper bracket.
- Install the brake pad retainers to the caliper bracket.
- Install the brake pads.
- Install the caliper to the caliper bracket. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Replacement (JH6, JH9)Β , Front Brake Caliper Replacement (JH5)Β .
- Slowly apply pressure to the brake pedal until a firm pedal is achieved.
- Fill the master cylinder reservoir to the proper level with clean brake fluid, if necessary. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel) , Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel) .
