Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the engine harness generator connector.

Refer to Fastener Caution


Tighten 
20 N.m (15 lb ft)
2 Generator Bolt (QTY: 3)
Tighten 
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
3 Generator
