Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the air inlet screen. Refer to Air Inlet Screen Replacement (Terrain) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the windshield wiper motor.
1 Windshield Wiper Motor Transmission Bolt (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
2 Windshield Wiper Motor Transmission

Procedure

  1. Remove and install the windshield wiper motor. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement (Equinox Terrain) .
  2. Position the transmission assembly into the plenum upper panel.
  3. Secure the electrical connector to the windshield wiper motor.
  4. Secure the transmission to outer fender flange bolt first, followed with the other two transmission bolts, (as shown).
