Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the service port cap.
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Non-HP2) , Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (HP2) .

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Use GE-46246  tool to remove the air conditioning refrigerant valve.
  2. Replace the O-ring. Refer to Air Conditioning O-Ring Seal Replacement .
  3. Test the system for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing .

Tighten 
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
