Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the air conditioning compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LZ1, L20, LC9, L9H, L92, LMG) .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the engine shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
  4. Remove the oil pan slid plate.
  5. Remove transmission cooler bracket.
1 A/C Compressor Bracket Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2 A/C Compressor Bracket Bolt (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
3 A/C Compressor Bracket Bolt (Qty: 3)
Tighten 
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
4 A/C Compressor Bracket
