For vehicles equipped with the instrument panel center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Center Trim Panel Replacement (Terrain) , Instrument Panel Upper Center Trim Panel Replacement (Equinox) , for removal. For vehicles equipped with the instrument panel center compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Compartment Replacement (Equinox) , Instrument Panel Center Compartment Replacement (Terrain) for removal.
1 Radio Control Assembly

Procedure

  1. Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainer clips securing the AM/FM stereo and clock and audio disc player radio control assembly to the instrument panel.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connections.
  3. When replacing the radio control assembly, transfer all necessary components.
  4. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
