Circuit/System Testing
2013 Chevrolet Equinox LS, AWD, GasSECTION Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down
- Disconnect the harness connectors at both of the P22 seatback video displays.
- Test for 190-210 HZ DC between the control circuit terminal 16 and ground at each display.
- If not between 190-210 HZ DC.Β
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X3 harness connector at the A11 radio.
- Ignition ON.
- Test for less than 1 V between the control circuit and ground.
- If 1 V or greater, repair the short to voltage on the circuit.
- If less than 1 V
- Ignition OFF.
- Test for infinite resistance between the control circuit and ground.
- If less than infinite resistance, repair the short to ground on the circuit.
- If infinite resistance
- Test for less than 2 Ξ© in the control circuit end to end.
- If 2 Ξ© or greater, repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- If less than 2 Ξ©, replace the A11 radio.
- If between 190-210 HZ DC.Β
- Ignition OFF. Connect the harness connector at the P22E driver seatback video display.
- Ignition ON, radio ON, DVD playing.
- Test for 190-210 HZ DC between the video brightness control circuit terminal 16 and ground at the P22F passenger seatback video display.
- If not between 190-210 HZ DC.Β
Test or replace the P22E driver seatback video display
- If between 190-210 HZ DC.Β
- If not between 190-210 HZ DC.Β
- Test or replace the P22F passenger seatback video display.
