Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove either the left front or right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Equinox) , Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Terrain) .
  3. Disconnect the fog lamp bulb socket electrical connector.
1 Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Screw
TIP:  Remove the adjuster screw in order to access the locking ring.
2 Front Fog Lamp Screw (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2 N.m (18 lb in)
3 Front Fog Lamp Assembly
Procedure 
Remove the lamp projector assembly from the fog lamp locking ring.
TIP:  The fog lamp is replaced as an assembly.
4 Front Fog Lamp Locking Ring

Procedure

  1. Release the locking ring from the tabs on the front bumper fascia.
  2. Replace the fog lamp as an assembly.
  3. Aim the fog lamps after replacement. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming (Equinox) .
