Removal Procedure

2013 Chevrolet Corvette Base, 2D Convertible, Standard Trans, Trans Mfr CD 6L85M/MM6SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (LS3, LS7)Β , Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (LS9)Β .
  2. Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
  3. Remove as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible.

  5. Disconnect the power steering gear inlet hose (1) from the power steering pump.

  7. Compress the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1).
  8. Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) from the power steering pump.

  10. Remove the power steering pump bracket bolts (1).
  11. Remove the power steering pump bracket (2).
  12. Transfer the power steering pump if necessary. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS3, LS7)Β , Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS9)Β .
