Removal Procedure

- Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
- Remove as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
- Remove the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LS3, LS7) , Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LS9)
- Remove the clamp retaining the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose (2) to the power steering pump (3).
- Remove the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose (2) from the pump.
