Culotte Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS7 or LS9) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS3) .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (LS9) , Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (w/o LS9) .
1 Nut
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
13 N.m (115 lb in)
2 Bolt (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
3 Bolt (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
TIP:  Align the generator harness bracket with the rear bolt hole on the generator prior to bolt installation.
4 Generator
Procedure 
Disconnect the generator field harness connector.
