  1. Raise the seat to the full up position.
  2. Remove the seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Removal and InstallationΒ .
  3. Remove the seat cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad ReplacementΒ .

  5. Remove the hinge pin nuts and the hinge pins.
  6. Lay the seat back down.
  7. Remove the cables from the actuators.

  9. Remove the seat from the adjuster to access the recliner mechanism attaching screws.

  11. Remove the screws attaching the recliner mechanism.
  12. Remove the recliner mechanism.
