2011 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ, 2.4 1SECTION Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution .
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .

  4. Remove the retaining screws (1) from the steering wheel bezel.
  5. Remove the steering wheel bezel (2).

  7. Insert a small, blunt ended tool into the access hole in the back of the steering wheel in order to push the switch out of the steering wheel.
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector.
