2011 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ, 2.4 1SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Align the rear object detection module to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the rear object detection module mounting bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the electrical connector to the rear object detection module and press in the locking tab.
  5. Install the rear compartment side trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  6. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
