Removal Procedure
2011 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ, 2.4 1SECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
- Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge tube from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Reposition the EVAP canister purge tube (1) out of the way.
- Disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
- Remove the fuel injector wiring harness clips (1) from the fuel rail tabs.
- Disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the number 3 fuel injector.
- Squeeze tabs and slide the MAP sensor (1) upward.
