2011 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Cargo Extended, 6.6 LSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the upper intermediate shaft and connect the upper intermediate shaft to the steering column.
  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the upper intermediate shaft (2) to steering column retaining nut and bolt (1) and tighten to 62 N.m (46 lb ft).

  5. Install the intermediate shaft bearing. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Bearing ReplacementΒ .
  6. Remove the J 42640Β  steering column anti-rotation pin from the steering column lower access hole.
