2011 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Cargo Extended, 6.6 LSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower intermediate shaft to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the lower intermediate shaft to the intermediate shaft bearing.
  3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the lower intermediate shaft to the intermediate shaft bearing retaining bolt and tighten to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  6. Align the marks made at removal and install the lower intermediate shaft to the power steering gear.
  7. Install the lower intermediate shaft to the power steering gear retaining bolt and tighten to 61 N.m (45 lb ft).
  8. Lower the vehicle.

  10. Remove the J 42640Β  steering column anti-rotation pin from the steering column lower access hole.
