Installation Procedure
2010 Chevrolet Malibu LT, 3.6 7SECTION Installation Procedure
- Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (1) to the ECM.
- Connect the body wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the ECM.
- Position the ECM above the retainer in the battery tray and slide the ECM down into the retainer.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LE5, LE9, LZ4, LZE, or LY7) .
- Reset the clock and preset radio stations.
- If a NEW ECM was installed, the ECM must be programmed. Refer to Control Module References .
