- Disable the parking brake cable adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster DisablingΒ .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the rear brake shield. Refer to Rear Brake Shield Replacement (JH5, JH6) or Rear Brake Shield Replacement (JH9) .
- Remove the anchor plate bolts (1).
- Remove the anchor plate (1).
