ECM Reprogramming

2010 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION ECM Reprogramming
    IMPORTANT: It is necessary to record Fuel Filter Life before reprogramming. The ECM reprogramming procedure will reset Fuel Filter Life to zero.
  1. Record Fuel Filter Life.
  2. IMPORTANT: Clear any DTCs that may have set after completing the programming procedure.
  3. Enable ECM Reprogramming - Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) .
  4. Reset Fuel Filter Life to the recorded value.
  5. Start and idle vehicle.
  6. Using the scan tool, perform the Turbocharger Learn Procedure. Refer to Turbocharger Learn .
  7. Perform a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Enable .
  8. If necessary, perform the following:

When to See a Mechanic
