- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the EBCM.
- Ignition ON, verify that the ABS indicator is OFF.
- If not the specified condition, test the control circuit terminal 10 for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the instrument panel cluster.
- Connect a 10 A fused jumper wire between the control circuit terminal 10 and ground. Verify that the ABS indicator is ON.
- If not the specified condition, test the control circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the bulb or instrument panel cluster.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the EBCM.
