Installation Procedure

2009 Chevrolet Uplander LT, 3.9 MSECTION Installation Procedure

If equipped, install the controls and the control harness to the steering wheel.

Install the wiring through the steering wheel.
Install the steering wheel.
Connect the steering wheel control electrical connector.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the steering wheel nut and tighten to 41 N.m (30 lb ft) .
Install the inflator module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
